Mercedes Benz India launched its AMG C63S today in New Delhi at a price of Rs 1.3 crore onwards. AMG C63S is the company’s 11th model in India this year.
Branded the World Car of the Year, the AMG C63S expands the model range of the new C-Class from the stables of Mercedes. The comprehensive range of the C-class models offered by Mercedes-AMG is aimed at discerning customers with an enthusiasm for top performance and the fascination of motorsports.
AMG C63S comes with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine, which can churn out 510bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox and can reach 100kmph mark from standstill in just a matter of four seconds. The latest model offers a top-speed of 250kmph.
Despite its powerpacked performance, the AMG C63S consumes 32 per cent less fuel than the predecessor and is the most economical eight-cylinder car in the high-performance car segment.
Other features include ambient lighting, automatic climate control and aluminium front wings.
The C63S is available in four colour options-: obsidian black, iridium silver, brilliant blue and polar white.
The AMG C63S comes with five dynamic transmission modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race and individual.
