25 Indian teams competing in Force Gurkha RFC India 2016 announced

Competition expected to be extremely tough with some of the best off-roaders of India all set to compete in the off-road motorsport event.

 

The list of the 25 Indian teams that will compete in Season 3 of Force Gurkha RFC India has been announced and it has created quite a stir in the Indian offroading community. While some of the competitors who have participated in the first two editions of RFC India are back for another adrenalin-filled week of extreme offroading, the line-up for Force Gurkha RFC India 2016 sees a lot of prominent offroaders of the country making a debut in the toughest and the first international off-road motorsport event of India.

Gerrari Offroaders Chandigarh, Bangalore Offroaders Development Association (BODA) and KTM Jeepers from Kerala lead the pack with 4 entries from each of these off-roading clubs. Mumbai’s Team Fairmont and Hyderabad’s Charminar Off Road Adventure Club (CORAC) will each be represented by 2 teams. V5 Offroaders from Coorg, Mudhogs from Sakleshpur, Northern India Offroad Club (NIOC) and Incredible Offroaders Goa will be represented by one team per club at ‘THE’ off-road motorsport event of the year. Force Gurkha RFC India 2016 will take place in Goa from 22nd July to 29th July.

Two of the competitors, Jagat Nanjappa from V5 Offroaders and Tejinder Singh from Gerrari Offroaders Chandigarh, are the winners of Force Gurkha RFC South and North India Chapters respectively which were held earlier this year. As a result, they have earned free automatic entry to Force Gurkha RFC India 2016. Two factory-backed Force Motors teams, led by Malaysian drivers Tan Eng Joo and Mervyn Lim, will be back in the fray trying to retain their top two slots of the previous two editions. Additionally, there are two individual entries from Pune and Hyderabad.

 

As per Mr. Ashish Gupta, Founder & Director, Cougar Motorsport Pvt. Ltd., the company that organizes RFC India, “It is heartening to see the overwhelming response that we have received this year. With almost two months to go for the event, we have already closed entries. This year’s list of Indian competitors is the best I could have asked for with a balanced mix of new talent, RFC India veterans and seasoned offroaders. I think this is a culmination of all the hard work that we have done and the goodwill we have earned since we launched the event in 2014.”

 

Force Gurkha RFC India is an extreme off-road motorsport event which is a part of the RFC Global Series with 25 editions worldwide. The RFC Mother Event, held in Malaysia, is counted among the top ten toughest motor races in the world. Though it is only two editions old, RFC Founder & Creator Luis J.A. Wee counts RFC India among the top 3 in the RFC Global Series. The week-long event tests the driving and vehicle recovery skills of the competitors under extreme off-road conditions through a series of challenges or Special Stages (SS). The team with the maximum points at the end of all the SS is announced as the winner of the competition and the best Indian driver of the event gets an automatic free entry to RFC Malaysia where he competes with the best offroaders from across the world.

 

Jagat Nanjappa, a veteran rallyist and an off-roading expert who has won nine Indian National Rally Riders Championships in the past, is all set for his debut at RFC India. “It is good to see names of the top offroaders from across the country in the list and I am looking forward to competing with them. Right now all my focus is on improving the reliability of my vehicle so that I don’t end up spending every evening during the competition under my Jeep!” Jagat said. After all, RFC India is a tough competition and vehicle breakdowns are a part and parcel of the event.

 

“Last year, Gerrari teams started the competition on a brilliant note and Gurmeet was in the lead during the initial days. However, we lost some crucial SS when the tyre of our vehicle came out of the rim which had a drastic impact on our overall rankings. This year, we will make sure that we are prepared for such contingencies.” said Kabir Waraich of Gerrari Offroaders Chandigarh, who got a podium finish in the previous editions of Force Gurkha RFC India and has been the top ranked Indian driver in the event in both the previous editions. He added, “This year’s event has seen the maximum number of entries and I expect the competition to be a lot tougher. The line-up is also quite interesting with the top offroaders from various regions participating. Jagat Nanjappa is an ex-rallyist and a tough competitor. Also, Gurmeet Virdi is coming to RFC India for the third consecutive year and after his fantastic performance last year, I consider him to be a big threat.”

According to Prashanth GV of BODA, “RFC India is gaining popularity year by year. Competitors are becoming much more serious about this event than they were earlier. I have seen some of the vehicles that are being prepared for the upcoming challenge and the build quality is extremely good. People have been dedicatedly working on improving the technical aspects of their vehicles since the last 6-8 months which proves how much respect RFC India has garnered within the off-roading community in such a short period. The competitors are ready for a much more advanced and tougher competition as compared to last year. I hope that the event organizers will give us good stages which are way more challenging than last year and at new locations.”

Seeing the fleet of majority of population using Auto-Rikshaws for local transportation , especially when they have to make short trips like going to grocery store or getting back home from bus stops. UBER launched UBERAuto service in Bhubaneswar and Coimbatore coinciding with the Odisha’s formation day — Utkal Divas. The product will give auto drivers an opportunity to work more efficiently using technology to get more ride requests and optimise productivity.

“In line with our vision to provide technology-backed, low-cost smart mobility solutions, uberAUTO has been launched in Bhubaneswar, the city that recently topped the smart city list,” a release from Uber said.

UberAUTO is an affordable transport option priced at Rs 15 base fare at Rs 3/km plus Rs 1/minute.
In order to use UberAuto, a user will need to download the Uber App from Google Play Store , IPhone App Store or Microsoft App store depending on the handset you use and request a ride from the app. After completion of the trip, you will get a digital invoice with the amount to be paid – there is no need to negotiate with the driver. 

The company is very rapidly positioning itself as much more than a car service, it sells something actually very useful, and it’s expanding with remarkable speed.  You can think of Uber as a personal logistics service that can drive your kids to school and back, take you to work, pick up your parents at the airport, drive you to date night so you can get your drinks on, it gets very very large.

Curtains came down on the biennial automotive show ‘Auto Expo’ with the event witnessing over 108 product launches and unveilings during the five days. The event was opened for general public from February 5.

“We believe the Auto Expo has successfully evolved from being just another exhibition of vehicles to a showcase of Indian manufacturing strength and technological capabilities. With over 108 new products being launched and unveiled and over 6,01,914 footfalls received over the last one week, we believe this Expo will strengthen the belief of our manufacturers in the Indian automotive industry. We would like to thank all those who visited the Motor Show as well as all our exhibitors, partners and the media. They are the ones who have made this show a success and helped us reach the desired level of excellence,” said Vishnu Mathur, Director General, SIAM.

 

This year’s Auto Expo is the biggest in its history, with SUVs and crossovers playing a prominent role as manufacturers display their upcoming cars to the Indian market. Some of the major participants would be Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra, Hyundai Motor India, Honda Cars India, Tata Motors and Audi, among others. New participants included Jeep, Polaris, and Italian motorcycle maker Benelli.

TVS Apache 200cc vs KTM Duke 200

It appears like Indian motor enthusiasts are finally getting closer to the launch of the much-awaited TVS Apache RTR 200. TVS has been testing its soon-to-be launched Apache 200 on the Indian roads for quite some time now, and the model has been caught on camera countless times.

The latest report on Rushlane indicates that the Apache RTR 200 will outshine its main rival, the KTM 200 Duke in terms of performance. The report indicates that the new Apache, with advanced engine, will reach 60kmph from standstill in 3.5 seconds. This is primarily calculated with the touted 200cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine with 25-30bhp of power. On the other hand, the KTM 200 Duke develops slightly lesser 24.7bhp and 19.2Nm of torque, which makes the Apache RTR 200 faster on papers.

BMW seems to have played a pivotal role in shaping the Apache 200. The cooling system for the engine is sourced from BMW. The design will be inspired from the Draken X21 concept that TVS showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. It will feature a razor sharp design with chiseled edges. The new Apache will employ telescopic front forks, while rear gets mono shock suspension. All-digital instrument cluster, LED tail lamps and split seats are the other additions.
Additionally, the Apache 200 will get a pair of sleek indicators, clip-on handlebar and headlamp with LED daytime running lights to enhance the sportiness. There will be a regular model and an ABS equipped variant on offer. The motorcycle will be pitted against the KTM Duke/RC 200 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200.
Now ahead of its expected launch in India on 20 January, the motor buffs at Carblog India have managed to get their hands on the specification list of the TVS Apache 200. According to this leaked data, TVS Apache RTR 200, which draws inspiration from the TVS Draken X21 concept, will be powered by a single cylinder 200 cc air-cum-liquid cooled 4 stroke engine that is tuned to dish out a power of 25.6bhp and peak torque of 22Nm. The engine will come mated to a five speed gearbox.
Built on a Double Cradle Synchro Stiff chassis, the front suspension will be taken care of by telescopic forks while rear suspension is done via adjustable monoshock. The motorcycle will sit on 17 inch alloy in the front and rear and the stopping power will be handled by a 270 mm Petal Disc at the front, while the rear gets 250 mm Petal Disc. We also hear that TVS could offer the option of Pirelli tyres for the buyers.
Other features of TVS Apache RTR include fully digital speedometer, split seats with grab rails, 3 step adjustable clip-on and lap-timer.
In yet another development, TVS Apache has been caught on camera once again, this time by AutoCar India. All this while the bike was caught testing clad in a blue cloth, but in the latest spy shots, which are doing the rounds on the internet, TVS Apache is seen with a different camouflage. The Apache RTR 200 has certainly borrowed a lot of features like fat fuel tank and alloys from Draken concept.
Expected to be pitted against KTM Duke 200 and Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, TVS Apache RTR 200 is rumoured to be priced at around Rs 85,000-95,000 in India.

The Nissan GT-R is a technological tour de force that can give the world’s fastest supercars a run for their money.

 

The engine is a 3.8-litre V6 (VR38DETT, if you want to get technical), punting out 550bhp and 466lb ft of torque. It’ll do over 193mph, but more than that, use the ‘R-Start’ launch control, and you can get 0–62mph acceleration times below three seconds, run after run. That’s not a car, that’s a missile. An experience few drivers will ever be lucky enough to have. Maybe that’s for the best, as such a ride irrevocably corrupts your expectations for vehicular performance.

This car’s not called Godzilla for nothing.

First-timers driving a Nissan GT-R will want to go in search of a wide, open space — some sort of long, flat stretch of asphalt. An empty, abandoned parking lot will work. A drag strip is ideal. A disused B-52 base wouldn’t be bad, either. You’ll need a bit of room before you start the checklist to unleash the brutal side of this car.

Now, left foot firmly on the brake, right foot hard on the gas. Watch the revs rise before completing the most important step: place your head back against the headrest.

“Then, take a deep breath and ponder the beauty of human existence before slipping your left foot off the brake pedal and enjoying the sensation of your internal organs rearranging as the world around you blurs.”

That said, it also isn’t an attractive car according to most of those people I spoke with. It is certainly imposing, an impressive visual testament to modern automotive technology, but beautiful it is not. Nissan’s GT-R may be fugly to some, but as an instrument of pure speed, it’s prodigious.

All the visual performance cues are there, though none scream for your attention. Wheels are large, as are the brakes within, but the gold-painted calipers are far more subtle than the red and gold you’ll find on many other cars at this level. Yes, there’s a small wing on the trunk, but it wouldn’t look out of place on a family sedan. Even the dual NACA ducts on the hood barely draw the eye. The Nissan GT-R is no sleeper, but neither is it pretentious. The styling here is aggressive in a typical Nissan way, but not overwhelmingly so.

Despite being on sale for more than seven years, the Nissan GT-R is still a performance phenomenon. Over the years the Japanese firm has evolved the engineering underneath the brutish skin to improve the GT-R’s performance, handling, ride and efficiency, but the basic recipe has remained the same.

The GT-R is famously reliable, but it is a suspiciously usable car too. It has a big boot, four decent seats and feature-packed cabin. You don’t need a stripped-out racer when the GT-R exists, especially in latest model year spec which get an even better Bose stereo and reversing camera.

However, one area where the Nissan might not be so usable is around town, as the car’s sheer size and compromised rearward visibility due to its muscular looks mean it’s difficult to manoeuvre. The styling is a point of contention, too, as the GT-R’s unique design won’t be too everyone’s tastes. This is not a shy, retiring car and it’ll certainly attract attention on the move.

Volvo S90, a sleek premium saloon – which replaces the largely forgettable S80 – is Volvo’s answer to the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and Audi A6. And it really will play the role of brand flagship. The look is reminiscent of the sleek Concept Coupe from the 2013 thanks to elements like the Thor’s Hammer daytime running lights integrated with the headlights, as well as the C-shaped tail-lights.

It’s much like the XC90

The S90 shares much with its SUV sibling, including its Scalable Modular Architecture platform and powertrains.  Although Volvo has yet to release output figures, it did say that the sedan will become available with the T6 and T5 gasoline engines, the D4 and D5 diesel mills, and the T8 hybrid, all built around 2.0-liter four-cylinder units.

Pilot Assist

Volvo’s upcoming executive saloon will feature a semi-autonomous driving feature called Pilot Assist. But this system – which delivers “gentle steering inputs” to keep the vehicle in its lane – is now in its second generation, and Volvo says it no longer needs another car to follow.

Indeed, it’ll go about its business on the highway without inputs from the driver’s hands or feet at speeds of up to 130km/h. For comparison, the XC90’s system works only at speeds of 50km/h or lower. The S90, then, is clearly pushing the envelope in the area of semi-autonomous driving as the brand strides towards one of its stated goals: a true self-driving vehicle.

It’s as safe as houses, just as we expected

If we were to spit out the word “Volvo” during an impromptu word association game, chances are you’d counter with “safety”. Volvos have always been among the safest cars on the road and the new S90 is no exception.

It picks up where the XC90 left off, boasting items such as Lane Keeping Aid, Driver Alert Control, Road Sign Information, Run-off Road Mitigation, Run-off Road Protection, and the City Safety package. Options include Blind Spot Information, Rear Collision Warning, Cross Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pilot Assist, Distance Alert, Park Assist Pilot and 360-degree camera.

Volvo has yet to announce pricing for the S90, but it should be a tad more expensive than the S80 it replaces. For 2016, the S80 retails from $43,450.

Giulia Quadrifoglio isn’t just a new car, this is an entirely new benchmark of Alfa Romeo’s“-Reid Bigland

Alfa Romeo’s North American comeback started with the introduction of the 4C last year. Now, the automaker is bringing more of Turin across the Atlantic with the re-introduction of the Giulia sports sedan. This is a rear-wheel drive beauty that packs 505 Ferrari stallions under its hood and sprints to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds, continuing on to a top speed of nearly 191 miles per hour.

The new 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio has the same design creed as its predecessor from half a century ago. It’s a relatively simple, contemporary sedan in look but the details bring out a lot of style. The carefully shaped saloon hood bears unassuming lines of adornment which further the wineglass V of the grille back to the hood. Slitted headlights look out from the corners over air scoops that forego bezels in favor of body shaping edgework. The Giulia has sensuous and shapely sheet metal, and—like a good Italian—the curves and creases are in all the right places.

Simple vents behind the front wheel wells offer a hint at the performance under the hood, belying the simplistic sport coupe sedan styling. The rear wells flare out slightly to give notice of the rear-driven powertrain and wide exhaust openings on either corner finish the muscular touches.

A red Alfa

Underneath the hood of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is a powerful 505-horsepower bi-turbo, 90-degree angled V6 derived from a Ferrari design. This will be the most powerful Alfa production car to date. The 2.9-liter V6 offers those 377 kilowatts of output with 443 pound-feet of torque (601 Nm) to match. That’s all thanks to the bi-turbo kicking out a peak 35 psi at peak. A short-shifting six-speed manual transmission is available, giving the car a 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) time of just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h). This car did the Nurburgring in a record-setting 7:39 lap.

Despite that powerful engine, Alfa Romeo assures the world that this is also a fuel-efficient sedan. Cylinder deactivation, which lowers the six to three, and engine stop/start reduce fuel consumption in everyday driving. A variable pressure oil pump also reduces drag, improving efficiency.

Alfa Romeo Giulia

If breaking Nurburgring records isn’t your thing, then Alfa Romeo will also be introducing an all-new 2.0-liter direct injected four-cylinder turbo for the Giulia. This will produce 276 hp and utilize Alfa’s parent company Fiat’s MultiAir2 system, which controls compression ratios for efficient performance. The four-cylinder turbo will be offered with an all-wheel drive powertrain as well.

Other key technologies offered on this new Alfa Romeo Giulia include:

  • Chassis Domain Control (CDC), a central computer that coordinates active systems in stability, torque vectoring, suspension damping, etc. to optimize on-road performance.
  • An Integrated Braking System, a world first, debuts on the Quadrigoflio as a replacement for traditional electronic stability control. This electromechanical system creates braking pressure faster. This means better braking performance with lower component weight.
  • A Twin Clutch Rear Differential for optimized torque vectoring for better traction control and power delivery.
  • The Active Aero Front Splitter is another new innovation for the Giulia. This adjusts the carbon fiber front lip spoiler to optimize aerodynamics to improve downforce (up to 220 pounds) and gives stability control at varying speeds. This is a big part of the Quadrifoglio’s 0.32 coefficient of drag.

Alfa Romeo Giulia

To finish things off, a full suite of safety technologies will be offered in this luxury sedan. The Giulia Quadrifoglio will have forward collision warning at all speeds, adaptive cruise control that includes full-stop capability, and lane departure warning with return correction. These go along with blind spot monitoring, rear cross path detection, and park-assist sensors at front and rear.

The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio will be built in the Alfa Romeo Cassino plant in Frosinone, Italy. It will begin production in late 2016 and enter North American showrooms by end of year. Expected manufacturer’s suggested retail price will start at about $70,000.

Production of the mighty McLaren P1 plug-in hybrid hypercar has come to an end. The McLaren P1 is a stunning piece of automotive design, but you won’t find any needless ornaments or frivolous styling features on it.

All of the planned 375 cars have now been produced, therefore the P1 now enters the out-of-production stage with other electric cars such as the Tesla Roadster, Honda Fit EV and Toyota RAV4 EV.

“The ending of P1 road car production at Woking leaves just one car in McLaren’s ‘Ultimate Series’ range of cars: the 986bhp P1 GTR, production of which is due to end early next year. From then on, attentions will turn to the P1’s successor, which is unlikely to appear before 2020.” – Autocar

All of the 375 P1s were spoken for before production even began on the first unit. Even with a $1 million price tag, the P1 was sold out before one was ever produced.  Exclusivity to these 375 owners was guaranteed, so no more can be produced outside that pool.

Tesla’s commitment to developing and refining the technologies to enable self-driving capability is a core part of their mission. In October of last year they started equipping Model S with hardware to allow for the incremental introduction of self-driving technology: a forward radar, a forward-looking camera, 12 long-range ultrasonic sensors positioned to sense 16 feet around the car in every direction at all speeds, and a high-precision digitally-controlled electric assist braking system.

Today’s Tesla Version 7.0 software release allows those tools to deliver a range of new active safety and convenience features, designed to work in conjunction with the automated driving capabilities already offered in Model S. This combined suite of features represents the only fully integrated autopilot system involving four different feedback modules: camera, radar, ultrasonics, and GPS. These mutually reinforcing systems offer realtime data feedback from the Tesla fleet, ensuring that the system is continually learning and improving upon itself. Autopilot allows Model S to steer within a lane, change lanes with the simple tap of a turn signal, and manage speed by using active, traffic-aware cruise control. Digital control of motors, brakes, and steering helps avoid collisions from the front and sides, as well as preventing the car from wandering off the road. Your car can also scan for a parking space, alert you when one is available, and parallel park on command.

Maruti Suzuki’s Alto is unofficially India’s favorite small car.  It out-numbers everything in its segment has eventually helped Maruti become a household name. The reasons are quite clear – terrific affordability, reliability and efficiency all packed into a compact body.  Many automobile manufacturers have tried compete with Alto, but with limited success. Renault’s announcement of the Kwid to ‘unsettle’ the Alto did  raise many eyebrows.  It’s only success in the country has been the Duster, which revolutionized the compact SUV segment in the country. Now, the Kwid holds the promise for the car maker, as Renault seems to have stirred up the right mix with its small car.

Earlier this month Renault had received 25,000 bookings within a fortnight after Kwid’s launch. The demand for the car continues to grow at a phenomenal rate as the Chennai-based car maker receives another 25,000 bookings taking the number to an impressive 50,000. But now sources state that waiting periods of the Kwid may extend upto 10 months in certain cities, and that bookings have crossed the 70,000 figure.

Perhaps the reason for raking up a 10 percent market share in a short period lies in its design. Many say that it is designed like a small Duster and is very much SUV- like. But that may be taking it a bit too far. It is more like a micro-hatch with its large grille, rectangular headlights, muscular hood, a neat looking tail lamp and a square shape overall. Either way, the look is just right. The 180mm of ground clearance gives it the requisite stance, and the 155/80 tyres and 13-inch wheels don’t look too bad on the car.

Ultimately being a budget car there are clever bits of cost cutting like the exposed tow hook at the front, the three-nut wheels and their plastic covers and the single wiper. Also at just 660kg, the Kwid is  about 50-60kg lighter than rivals like the Alto and Eon.

Just like the unique exterior design, the cabin quality and materials used don’t look cheap by any measure. The cabin is spacious and comes with abundant storage space including two glove compartments and a couple of coffee mug holders near the gear lever, and bottle holders on the door panels. The AC vents also have chrome accents and like with the exterior, you will start to see a few cost-cutting signs if you look hard enough, but they’re really no better or worse than other cars in this class. Things like exposed screws, centre-mounted window switches at the front, no power windows at the rear, and non retracting seatbelts at the back either – you have to adjust the length manually every time you buckle up.

Renault has equipped the Kwid with MediaNAV system which  comes with a range of functions such as navigation, Bluetooth audio streaming & hands-free telephony, USB & AUX–input ports and speed sensing volume control. The on-board trip computer provides valuable information such as average fuel consumption, distance to empty, average speed and more and a gear shift indicator. The Renault KWID also comes with the convenience of remote keyless entry and one-touch lane change indicator that further simplifies your drive experience. So the Kwid is loaded.
The seats are reasonably large and well padded and can easily fit four adults. The boot space is huge

The Kwid uses an all-aluminium, 799cc three-cylinder petrol engine and the power is 53.26bhp @ 5678rpm and torque is 7.34kgm @4386rpm. But what we really care about is 25.12kpl – an ARAI rated fuel economy figure that makes it the most efficient petrol car in the country. Being the lightest car in the segment, the car is faster to 100kmph and can go upto 125kmph. The engine is quite refined and for 2.6 lakhs the ride is very smooth. Suspension has been well calibrated to offer minimum body roll and it feels really nicely held together for a budget car. Thanks to the superb setup, the car goes through corners very tidily as well. However, it’s spoiled by the steering which is quite lifeless and doesn’t return to centre freely. . That’s a shame, as a good steering setup would have complemented the suspension to make for a really fun car to drive.

Renault has won half of the battle with design and features. It has also armed itself well, with  a premium cabin, plenty of space, the best fuel economy. And Renault has got its strategy and pricing right too. The company has saved costs in areas that customers won’t notice or mind. Yes it has its flaws with the engine and some of the cheaper Kwids aren’t well equipped. Still, all things considered, Renault’s Kwid clearly a game changer and is a wake up call to Maruti and Hyundai

Berlin: Porsche will spend about 1 billion euros ($1.09 billion) on production facilities at its biggest plant to make its first-ever all-electric sports car.

The Volkswagen-owned manufacturer will create more than 1,000 new jobs at its base in Zuffenhausen in Germany where a new paint shop and assembly line will be set up to build the battery-powered “Mission E” model, Porsche said on Friday.

Porsche’s investment in emissions-free drive technology reflects parent VW’s growing commitment to increase its electric offerings as it struggles to overcome an emissions scandal.

VW has said the next generation of its VW-badged flagship luxury saloon Phaeton will be electric and it plans to expand the so-called MQB modular production platform to focus more strongly on long-range plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles.

Analysts have warned that VW’s admission of rigging diesel emissions tests could cast a shadow over the diesel vehicle industry.

Porsche’s Mission E model, due to come to market by the end of the decade, will be more than 600 horsepower and have a range of over 500 km (310 mile).

“We are sending a significant sign for the future of the brand,” Chairman Wolfgang Porsche said after a meeting of the supervisory board which approved the investment.

Some 700 million euros will be spent at Zuffenhausen where an existing engine plant and body shop will be extended, and the rest will be invested in Porsche’s development centre in Weissach, the carmaker said.
