The hatchback rides on 13 inch wheels

The city car is manufactured at the Renault-Nissan alliance plant in Chennai with a localization of 98 percent. It will be exported from here. At a later stage, the Kwid will get a more powerful 1.0 litre petrol engine and an automatic AMT transmission. However, a diesel engine is not expected to be launched.
